The Italian Parliament has approved the 2020 financial maneuver containing, among others, measures dedicated to the real estate sector, from the extension of the tax bonuses, to the arrival of the new IMU, let’s see what they are:
- extended the main tax bonuses and introduced the brand new "facade bonus" which consists of the tax deduction for the documented expenses incurred for the current year including those for ordinary maintenance, aimed at the recovery or restoration of the facade of the buildings;
- tasi merged with the imu: eliminated the tax on indivisible services, which however will not lead to a decrease in the tax burden;
- increases the real estate capital gain from 20% to 26%;
- extended the dry coupon for rents to 10% in the event of an agreed rent.
