House prices in our country, which are still slightly down, despite therecovery in sales. A mix of factors is probably affecting its progress. Population aging, sluggish economic recovery, deterioration of real estate assets are probably at the basis of the trend in house prices in Italy, the only country going against the trend compared to what is happening in Europe today. This could lead to greater interest from foreign investors who would see greater purchasing convenience in Italy, despite a rather disincentive tax system.
